Colombia

Colombia is dear to my heart, and deep in my veins. I have ancestry from this beautiful, magical, complex place. These photos are from a trip in 2010. Cartagena de Indias Island is where Gabriel Garcia Marques would spend months on end writing his masterpieces. Parque Tayrona is a majestic lush jungle where you can see the Sierra Nevada and snow on its tips. I met the gentle Tayrones people, aboriginal to this sacred land. Bogotá is the capital of Colombia, with it’s old part of town, filled with history and authenticity. then as one crosses the new part, and drives beyond, you will see a gorgeous green land with farms and beauty.

Cameras used: Iphone 6, Nikon D30 & Nikon FM2
